Huzzah! Fear my skills of Industry and Child Labor!
There was a brief moment in time where Imgur tanked and everyone left. It was just furries posting fun stuff and it was actually nice to be on Imgur again. Now half of the furries are constantly getting their accounts banned and I feel like I barely see their posts anymore. It's just depressing ragebait politcal stuff over and over...

There's a part in Dune: Messiah that I really like where a traitor Fremen is talking about losing faith when he gets to a planet that's got water everywhere. I can't remember it enough to phrase it well but it gives me the same vibes as this

I'd argue that the real reconstruction era for the Civil War lasted until Lincoln was shot and then it was just completely derailed. What followed after was just the South winning the Civil War

last i heard from my sister, who works in wildlife stuff, the govt keeps trying to cull the horses cuz theyre over populated and people get mad. so the current solution has been putting them in horse concentration camps which also get full really quickly
his crew assaulted someone in order to take pictures with veterans' graves for a campaign. the man doesn't have a soul let alone an ounce of shame
