I think logically I can agree with it not being my fault, but I do care about them and what they do and what happens to them, so its been hard to not see my leaving as very much the cause of whatever effect. Its been a process to get to a point where leaving outweighs that perceived harm even a little, but those scales have shifted for me I think.
Yeah, the aftermath of the leaving is something I know is going to be incredibly bad, possibly devastating, and I really feel for your ex's ex. The isolation is real and I'll be honest, I came close to making the same choice he made not long ago. They've pulled some wild claims already, and I've already warned family, and thankfully dont really have friends they can target, but the threats of violence against me worry me less than the violence they threaten against themselves.
Thats very close to my situation actually. I'm a bit bigger than you (taller and bulkier) and my spouse is taller and more muscular than yours was, but physically yeah, the matchup would go the same way if I were remotely like that, but I'm not. I actually have done a lot of work over my life to center myself and despite being a big guy I am not even one to raise my voice, let alone my hand, but I can feel all that unraveling more and more each confrontation as they push and escalate more.
Reading that hit me in a way I dont think I was ready for. Thank you, you're right, that is whats scaring me. I also know this will hurt them deeply and uproot, if not completely destroy a lot of what they built both on their own and with me and I dont want to hurt them like that and it sucks knowing I'll probably need to.
I'm actually guessing something more along the lines of BPD, which is sort of the other side of the coin so to speak, but thank you. I'm sorry to hear that you were in a similar position, but it sounds like its in the past for you which I am glad for. My situation has also been a slow escalation over time, and I think its that slow boil thats made me so blind to all of it and how it brings out the negative in me as well.

The remaining primaries are influenced by this, thus tipping the scales in his favor and changing the potential outcome. Unlike 2024 there was a primary, sure, but to call that vote free of influence or bias in favor of the DNC leaderships prefered outcome is nieve. (2/2)
lets take 2020 because it was probably the more eyebrow raising example. Biden (and Harris for that matter) were both getting absolutely smoked in the first few states primaries. To an almost embarrassing degree in fact. Then, suddenly, candidates who were doing better than him or were at least holding their own started to drop out and throw their weight behind Biden, saying only he could win (despite polls not really backing that up at all). People dont forget, its more that our primaries have turned into theater like so much else. The dems in 2020 and 2016 are the perfect example of this.

did you read the article you linked? there isnt much in the realm of accomplishments and those he has were half assed at best and actively unprogressive at worst. his big "achievement" is the infrastructure bill but even that was a barely passed, half assed effort to rebuild roads and bridges that have needed it for close to 80 fucking years. yell at me all you like, but I dont think you know what "progressive" means if Biden is your prime example
what forgiveness? they literally hid the report on his ability to forgive loans and then enacted a plan that was so half-assed that it was immediately challenged and overturned in the courts
