It's from A Muppet Family Christmas, and it's a delight https://muppet.fandom.com/wiki/A_Muppet_Family_Christmas
#1 is at Walt Disney World, and is actually an ice cream stand https://disney.fandom.com/wiki/Dinosaur_Gertie%27s_Ice_Cream_of_Extinction
Not the point of this comparison, but why is roofing so dangerous? Working at heights is inherently hazardous, but various types of PPE exist to mitigate that.Could it have any connection to the construction industry having lobbied to be exempted from OSHA fall protection rules in many cases, so it's pretty common to not have any such PPE on roofing jobs?
The pay isn't, like, amazing, but it's definitely not at the bottom. Character performers are a more specialized job, and paid more accordingly. They've also got union representation.
Yeah, it's from Animal Crossing New Horizons
Those aren't attractions cast, FYI. They would be character performers, who are paid a little better (but still not enough).
It's Crypt of the NecroDancer. Guessing they mean that you won't like it because they're not very high-res sprites, so nude mod wouldn't show very much.
No, Aisha is innocent. Runar is a convicted CRIMINAL.
Cats aren't supposed to like sweet things, they don't have well-developed taste buds for that!
That's definitely Be Our Guest (the Beauty and the Beast restaurant at Magic Kingdom)
#10 the rumor wasn't true at the Tokyo games, and it's not true at the Paris games either https://www.reuters.com/sports/olympics/paris-2024-guarantees-beds-are-tiny-robust-2024-05-17/
You may scoff, but that's actually more efficient than driving the props directly. There's a reason diesel locomotives actually have diesel generators running electric motors.
I don't know Alex, but agreed. Given that the MA3 is in a lockscreen, seems pretty unlikely that it's the one doing anything at that moment. It could be a backup console, but opener with another LD on a different console seems more likely.
Two points:1) My initial response is "Wait, people have internal monologues? Like, an actual voice in your head narrating in words? Sounds bizarre."2) that statistic going up to 50% - if it's half-and-half, then can you really say it's that unusual?2B) I wonder what kind of overlap not having internal monologue has with something like aphantasia?
Caption is a bit out of date by now - the comic was published in The Daily Mirror on March 5, 1919, making it nearly 105 years old. Artist is W. K. Haselden. It's only polite to give credit, even if they're long since shuffled off this mortal coil!
Not a fan of how poorly they're using the fall protection. Never clipped off to the lift at all, briefly clips onto ladder at the top of the lift's travel, then unclips before closing the trapdoor. Then climbing that second ladder, not tied off at all, when the purpose of the cable on it is for a connection to the harness from a chest D ring. Has the trappings of fall protection, but the workers aren't using the systems properly.
#19 Lactose intolerance isn't an allergy, though. It's just a lack of an enzyme, which is easily treated with OTC substitute.
#30 Well well well, look at the fancypants here who doesn't have work on holidays. Sounds nice.
Parking in theme park garages doesn't work that way. Rows are filled up from one end to the other, then on to the next row, and eventually to the next floor. There are some exceptions, like accessible or premium parking, but that's just not how it works.
The "renamed at Ellis Island" trope is a myth (with a hint of truth, like you do), which gets regularly debunked and yet nobody every remembers e.g. https://www.nypl.org/blog/2013/07/02/name-changes-ellis-island
Wet blanket here: that's a Photoshop that went viral, they don't have names
Is it weird that my first reaction was "Ah yes, that's the last car of Expedition Everest; why'd they flip the image, though?" Only read the text after that.

Blue senator, but the governor just flipped to red.
