While I was out of work I had financial assistance due to covid with Canadian CERB . Also had savings. Nowadays I budget for my addiction
Just fired up Crysis other night and realized it was made in 2007!
same. try finding on on ebay now. theyre still like $300+. I lucked out on a bid. got a full sega cd with genesis and 32x for $250.
Used to always rent from local store. Sega cd full system. 2 controllers, 2 game. $50 deposit. $20 for fri. sat. and sun. good times

I love the Sega CD FmV games. they were like horrible b-movies. Surgical Strike is like the ultimate of early 90's FMV cheese.
Deadpool Volume 3: X marks the spot. Pretty damn funny. Dead pool triea to join the xmen. sillyness ensues.

And ive found that the Warhammer community in 9gag have been really awesome. non-toxic and everyone loves sharing tips about the hobby

So many books.... I started with a series called Gaunts Ghosts. its like Band of Brothera of the gruntd and not the uber space marines
And a good first box set is called First Strike. Its a great Price @$40 has 15 minis and the first few missions through the basic rules.
Then a good start in thr minis is the Citadel painting essentials kit. It has a good starter set of paints, a brush, glue and clippers.
and it includes 1 space marine to build. And it has sections all about painting and techniques. And gameplay example. Really worth it.
If you want to get into the minis, pick up the getting started with wh40k book. Its like $10 has tons about the lore, the hobby, and game

look up the army painters tutorial on youtube. it was very helpful for me. Being a bit bigger than my other minis was good to learn with.
Good idea. I have a good friend that has one. I Should make a deal him to print me some minis.
