Adhesive gets soft, usually micryl is used in this type of adhesive, which is not resistant to static loads a heat.

Use a curing adhesive, or some kind of silicone. That'll do the job.
Especially if you have a static load.
You will never be able to fix something to the inside of a car anywhere with a PSA (Pressure Sensitive Adhesive) ever. It's in the physics

Yes, with the original lids. Once in a while one will not shut correctly, but that is always the first glas I open.

Preserving as well, the glasses are preheating in the oven, the lids too, then the hot jam is filled into the glasses.
