What I dont get is that there aren’t any low level manufacturing jobs to abuse the poor with anymore in this country. Why do they want more?

Acknowledging the current economy isn’t conducive toward saving and elevating yourself, there is a valid point here about cultural values.
I’ve personally known MANY poorer people who spend indiscriminately on items I was raised to believe were luxuries.
Rings true. Raised by well-off Ivy leaguers. We had a tiny tv but a massive amount of books. My poorer friends all had better electronics.
