Funny my troop calls it "ring of death". We used to use a metal chair but have since changed to a non skid mat.
So without the rope in scouts we call it ring of death, the can can be anything a chair or a rug mat, ect.
Also penalized for breaks if you let go twice you are out ect.

Everyone was closed down for a few days(for the ~3 days the highway was closed) but as far as I know everyone is back open. There was not any debris on my boat, prior fires there have been, so hoping the combustion was as complete(no bad stuff to clean up) as the EPA is currently reporting.
I was on one of those boats in North harbor(south harbor was evacuated) along with a bunch of other people(all fine), there was a barely noticeable taste of metal in the air. The soil is being tested on the farms. The EPA is here testing the air at the site.

The word you are looking for is postlingually deaf and even then they require a great deal of speech therapy to sound "normal".
A normal hearing person if they have not heard their own voice for less than 1 week will struggle to sound "normal" if they can't hear themselfs speaking.

Its called the gumby and you can learn to do this. We taught it to most of the scouts in my old troop, one of them could jump & do inda air.

Foundational things like counting and letters are wildly different. An ASL user would have an easier time signing to a JSL(JapaneseSign)user
Careful, Sign language is not English, the difference between ASL(American Sign Language) and BSL(British Sign Language) is soooo wide.
