It reminds me of the rumour that "the latest update to iOS makes your iPhone waterproof - try it!"
What I don't understand is why none of the mainstream media are running with the most explosive stuff from the files. Just a month ago we learned about him being present when a baby was thrown from a boat. Now this? Why isn't NBC or CNN running as hard as they can with this stuff??
The thing that depresses me the absolute most about the Epstein files is that HE'S GOING TO PARDON EVERY SINGLE PERSON and then try to pardon himself.
Be careful though, not to accidentally end up 'SWATTING' someone.
When I was about 11 or 12, I was in a theatre production with this girl who was 13. SHe talked a lot about her 'boyfriend', who was 25. Nobody was cool with it, but she kept insisting her parents knew and had given consent. I was too young to know the law around it, but I was *certain* that arrangement wasn't good enough. But also, I couldn't do anything about it. No idea what happened to her. I hope a teacher, or some responsible adult sounded the alarm, but I doubt it would have come to anythg
...to see if he got caught. Or died.
I remember this dude in a community theatre play I was in, was super close with all the kids in the production. He bought me Sim City 3000 for my BDay (gifts like that are not normal), and offered me two tickets to go to a sports game with him. Just with him, not my parents. Guy talked a lot about 'trust'. I could tell he was dangerous, and made sure to never be alone with him if I could prevent it. Fortunately, I was 13 and old enough to understand all that. Every once in a while I google him.
Hmm, are they suggesting that Americans might actually use their 2A rights to fight back against an oppressive and corrupt government?
"Heeeyyy... heeeyyyy... heeeeeyyyy...heyyyy-YOU!!!! >:( >:( "
ohhh, I see what you mean. Yeah, possible
Easier to speak, Dave? Or just fewer consequences to say hateful shit? That's not the same as free speech. In the west, you'd get criticized, and likely face the consequences of losing popular support for saying hateful stuff. In SA, the government tortures or kills people for advocating against that government acting on those same hateful views. It's not equal on both sides.
that was also my first thought, trying a last-ditch to stop the car by sliding against the barrier. Then I thought heart attack. But it looks like he's just waving out the window in the vid :S
I assumed heart attack or something like that ,but it looks like the driver is facing his left and waving out the window for most of the time
I wanna believe that it's exactly what I think it is ... but like, is there any other explanation I should consider? Like, are they on there to harass, or 'out' LGBTQ+ people wherever they go, or some other such reason they'd all be on Grindr?
Yeah, and that's satisfying to see, but then they still vote, and now they feel all their problems were caused by "the Left(tm)", so they're more entrenched. No matter how hard their lives can be made, no matter how much shame gets dumped on them, they always have that one vote in their hand.
Happy Anniversary to that very good laugh I had. :)
Fascism always needs an enemy. And they need an enemy that can't stop being an enemy. A communist can change their mind. A trans person can't stop being trans. FWIW, in choosing trans people as their enemy, the fascists have implicitly agreed that being trans isn't a choice.
That's beyond the scope of my knowledge, friend - but if you need to hide an anti- HAIR ship, you can cover it with a hat! (8D)
But I hear it does help to disguise one's direction, bearing, and ship class, fwiw !
I agree. I think if all the rallies within reasonable driving distance of DC were to be moved to DC, that would be better. As it stands, Trump will enjoy an uncontested parade, and Fox will broadcast only that nice clean orderly display. The administration will hear news that there were some protests elsewhere, but will spin the narrative to downplay them.I think we're not going to get anywhere until literally a million people fully encircle the White House in peaceful protest.
ohhh I remember that! Yeah, there was like, a week or so where there was noticeably very little Alt-right angst comments on like, *anything*. To this day I still view so many of the negative comments I see online as being very likely russian troll farms.
#14 - I had this convo with a friend once, I had to explain to them that those four are kind of the reason why those names are so common today, rather than ancient or foreign.
As some of us predicted, conservative voters took a 24 hour pause before deciding that the election was rigged. I'm already seeing boomers all over Facebook claiming that Elections Canada will register anyone off the street to vote, casting doubt on the legitimacy of who actually voted. Among other conspiracy theories.
I mean, I want my car to be *some* computer, but not *ALL* computer!
I like it. But we have to get around the problem of how the union in the US cannot be seceded from. SO some other mechanism must be made. States could give 99.99% of their land to Canada, rather than secede; optionally, several states could merge together before doing so. It just has to be something where the sate isn't leaving, it's just being reduced in size to a postage stamp on the border of Jesusland and still gets two senators in the US senate ;)
Fascists believe in sacrificing the individual for the country, so if he's a 'true believer', he may - somehow - actually reconcile that and remain MAGA faithful. It's insane.
My grandfather fought them in Holland, I can't believe that today I could be called unreasonable for refusing them a seat at the proverbial table.
Agreed. The excuse that it's the only platform for artists and small businesses is old, there are other options, and we're past a reasonable transition period. Everyone who is still on Twitter, in my view, is an enabler at this point.
