Look up sapphire growth lines and see if that looks at all like what going on in those stones.
The stones could be sapphire. #5 looks like growth lines/color zoning that you often see in sapphire but I can't say for sure. 1/2

That's some pretty good rough you've got there. What cabbing machine do you use?
Hard to say, maybe a malachite and azurite breccia with a high silica content, similar to "gem silica." A video of the slab wet may help ID.
Looks like boulder opal, most likely from Queensland, Australia.

A fair amount but I've also seen with and worked with a few with the fancy names so I'm slowly learning them. It'll be a while though.
I am too but I never learned about ammolite from schooling, there's lots of thing you don't learn in school that are related to the degree.
Ammolite and ammonites refer to two different things
