I do not, I haven't heard of this being done with tiger iron but I could see oxidization being an issue if not handled with care

It's a quite large cabochon. If you're looking at this on your phone it's almost a 1:1 size, little bit smaller.
Oh really? This is the most common biggs that I've personally seen at local shops in BC. I imagine there's a lot of variety in Oregon.
