That is a big ass fire whirl! Intense fire behavior and unstable pressure make these in wildfires, they are bad enough when they are small!

3/3 As for wildlife we have found that our threatened species prefer burned/rehabed areas. Fire helps the land and gives them habitat
2/3 (I lied about 2 parts, sue me) Fire also reduces invasive species and the mineral soil is enriched by the burnt plant life.
Cant speak for this exact fire. But where I burn it is a fire dependent ecosystem. The native species need fire to thrive. 1/2

Well I believe they actually have flaps that close their nostrils and ears to stop water from entering since they are a semiaquatic mammal
I believe it's due to the very dense fur trapping a layer of air for insulation and some just escapes as it moves.
It makes a mechanical sound so probably a Tony suit or something.
