I was born, I existed for a while, and now you're reading this.
Our group is armed and protecting people from being kidnapped by the fucking gestapo you've assured me will just go away on their own thanks to the magical pendulum. Go fuck yourself you sanctimonious asshole, you're the one working against our cause. Now, I've got shit to do that actually matters and it doesn't involve arguing with an idiot on imgur, bye.
That's rich coming from someone who assures me that things will inevitably get better all on their own regardless of action taken thanks to the pendulum effect.
I haven't seen any indication that the right swing is slowing down or stopping considering I can walk outside right now and see that my community still has people who are going to vote Republican and support the Trump admin. If mine does, then others do too. I don't see any reason to be optimistic right now. I only see tough times and a tougher future. And I'm hoping I don't die of cancer or a bullet before I can actually see hope in the horizon again.
I never said "give up, do nothing" but I'm actually out there protesting, patrolling, and trying to get people to care and seeing the apathy that allowed us to get here firsthand. That's why I'm cynical. Again, I hope you are right, but the evidence of my own fucking eyes tells me a different story. So unless you have a great plan that you're putting into motion that promises great results, don't blow smoke up my ass.
If you didn't vote in the primary I don't wanna hear you bitching about the Dem candidate on the ballot. You fucking had your chance and you didn't take it. That's on you. The least you can do is damage control.

He has no sense of the future, so until it happens it's not even a consideration, and honestly, the entire fucking government has let him get away with everything so far, none of us have any reason to think that's going to stop anytime soon.

Historically, Rope Darts are good at killing people who were not expecting someone to use a rope dart on them, and people who try to learn rope dart too quickly and get in over their head, but not great in actual war with like, soldiers and arrows and spears and things like that.
Cool, guess the plan is to do nothing and let it get worse then. Really though. We know. We know there is deep rot in the system, voting isn't enough, we get it *but you still need to vote* you do need to organize with your local community and work together to chase oligarchy out from the ground up. But you also need to vote. Refusing to vote does less than nothing. It allows the worst people to get into power unopposed. It's how we got here in the first place.
Damn that's crazy, who would have thought millions of people throwing their votes in the toilet instead of using them against a guy who promised to help Bibi eradicate the Gaza strip would have led to this outcome?

I have severe doubts it would change anything.
The news doesn't cover our actions by and large. Europeans may be genuinely misinformed. Still no excuse for them to treat us like shit about it, but I can appreciate they're not able to see the full picture from where they are.
But everyone does know, those in power don't fucking care.
That last part will only happen if the American people stand up and make it happen, not just me, not just you, all of us.
