I mean to be fair she is wearing a costume and is thus functionally cosplaying in this photo, yes.

Aside from the fact that your work is prominent enough to have found its way to my roommate (without me telling him about it) who is a furry artist and teaches art classes, my second-favorite thing about adorkastock's incredible posts is trying to guess the title by the picture alone.

Transcriptions apparently don't count as recordings if the audio isn't being, well, recorded.

You can always find the americans by their insistence that the rest of the world has it wrong.

so because of their stupidity, at least 2-3 other vehicles were damaged, that white SUV looks totaled.

Sorry, does any Black Mirror episode end well? I've only ever seen that one and the first one, and... yeah.

Either he's too dumb to understand blue (food coloring) plus yellow (cake) equals green... or he's playing dumb. either way I would... not consider that an ideal partner, oof. "it's okay baby, I don't understand basic primary colors, isn't that so romantic and sweet of me?"

Or it's just a very dumb skit. Which I'm more inclined to believe these days.

"I don't understand how an entire generation of people are able to do a skill while I am unable to do that skill. Clearly it is that generation that is not alright." absolutely insane shit to say. mega yikes.

Because the system isn't broken - it's working exactly as intended.

this comment will likely go unseen but the lunchbox with the Furry Mario ought to have been that one horrible koala that was repainted as mario

this is the ai/nft bro known as beeple, yeah?

gods, that sounds so beautiful. Mine was me waking up halfway through a shattered elbow operation to the sound of a power drill 4" deep into my arm and saying "um, hi" and hearing "he's not supposed to be awake"

The worst part about #2 is that I bought a great piece of software and then afterward it became subscription-only. Twice, from two entirely unrelated companies. Fuck that shit so hard.

if it were possible to quit the job on moral principles and instantly have job security at an equally-paying job with the same commute/access, these people would have done so already.

I feel like this comment is bait for those who know the difference between passed and past....

I think, on a more personal note, it upsets me most that the solution is "oh yeah just fuckin unalive them, point blank, zero forgiveness or tolerance" when the only way I was able to escape the cult was because people showed me forgiveness and tolerance. Some part of me feels like I owe it to even the worst people, to try and fix them (or give them the opportunity to fix themselves) instead of mercilessly eliminate them.

Oh my goodness thank you for this! I'm not a lawyer or philosophy major so I don't know all the special big words for things, but yeah, exactly this. Though, more specifically it's not about the paradox of tolerance, so much as the precise verbage he's using is the exact same verbage used by so many hate groups. Maybe it's an attempt to 'reclaim' it but seeing it just makes my skin crawl. (I'm glad to have survived and gotten out of the cult I was raised in, thankfully, but I did see it a lot.)

(2/2) happens to be right this time. Something something, even a broken clock is right twice a day.

while I 100000% agree with the sentiment of #2, it pains me to see posts like that because it's the exact same psychological trick used in every cult. Swap 'nazi' with 'palestinian' and it's a sentiment I've seen dozens of times from israelis this year. swap 'nazi' with 'muslim' and it's a sentiment I've seen dozens of times from 'christians' around 9/11. swap 'nazi' out with athiest, gay, democrat, trans, and so on... it's a way to not just allow, but encourage, bigotry.

it also just so (1/2)

gawd there are so many AI images in this. I get that most of them are just screenshots of someone else's meme where THEY were the one that used the AI, but it genuinely is so awful to look at these pictures.

We're all objects, and some just haven't really found a sense of self or identity that we click with. I'm not personally in the it/its crowd - more of a they/them sort myself - but I understand the struggle that comes with being raised in a deeply religious family, where your entire sense of self is based around one sole thing, and then when you get kicked out or escape on your own, you have nothing left and no idea where to even start building. your identity was the cult, now it's nothing.

Furthering this his name is Keaton Patti and he's an amazing writer for many wonderful things

this kind of mentality is why I do not trust (or respect) anyone in any military for any country. there's no end to the depravity and dehumanization and only the worst people support that, let alone actively participate and encourage it.

Ah yes, the classic "just don't vote, it's pointless" approach that allowed Trumpers to scrape by at the polls. Good job, fascist.

2 weeks ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Not a single one of those is a violation of Texas law. This is why voting at the local level is so, so important, folks. Plenty of other states have genuine rights for workers.

I feel like the majority of the 12% don't know the difference between "return a volley once" and "score an actual point". I reckon about 12% of men could return a volley once.

there's been a flood of AI videos of these lately. no idea why.
