Yeah I've never had an issue telling women I like their hair, like their boots, bracelets, etc. The main thing is to avoid complimenting someone's body unless you are actively trying to get with them. Compliment their choices and things they put on. Makeup. Earrings. Etc.

absolutely not

yeah I'm familiar with this, and also for tax purposes they tend to get appraised *higher*. But I was originally responding to the idea that loan applications were 'great' back in the old days. Credit rating, bad as it is, is at least transparent. Watch *The Banker* (2020) to get a feel for how things used to be.

OP was saying the old system was better.

It is not as bad for black people as the 60s and its outrageous for you to say this. Credit score also does not directly consider race. Don't lie about shit.

The post was implying that before credit score the system worked better. It didn't, it was worse, credit score is comparatively transparent and better. Is it good? No. I didn't say that. But the beforetimes were in fact shittier.

You do not know how this works. If you go to the gas station and buy with a debit card, and the money is instantly paid by the bank, that improves your credit score. If you pay off your credit every month and never pay interest, you get a higher score. I'm not saying the system is good, but it was put in place because the prior system was just open-faced "decide if the guy is black enough to own a house."

Yeah and the prior approach was "judging how irish he sounds over the phone."

it absolutely is brave! She got doxxed by trump! People have gotten killed doing similar things. What risks have you taken to be calling her anything other than brave?

No, in fact its clear that they expect to be targeted very directly, this reporter already was targeted. Mainstream press saying, to Trump's face, that they respect their peer who exposed his pedophilia, is in fact badass as hell.

Unlike this badass on twitter calling them out. Like "your plan of exposing ties to epstein pales in comparison to my strategy of posting in a superior tone on twitter"

This whole thread is just stupid populist bullshit. This reporter did a brave-ass thing and exposed a really corrupt thing about trump, that has (some of) trump's most psychotic followers questioning him, and Trump tried to silence her, and all reporters stood behind her....

And this badass is on twitter saying "Yeah but you didn't topple Trump singlehandedly" get grip people!

Testesterone is basically a steroid. It makes you more aggressive, yes, but it also makes you more muscular and energetic. It isn't crazy at all to get on TRT if you're active combat military after 30, but most roles aren't combat-oriented and so the benefits here are.... whatever. Honestly its dumb but compared to everything else it barely ranks.

Eisenhower also did operation wetback.

But we have to appreciate context, which is that he took power in an era where strong nations subordinating every lesser power as a colonial fief was the norm. It was what every government was set up to do, top to bottom. Eisenhower was very much someone putting the breaks on the colonialism machinery, overall, compared to prior presidents like McKinley who had pushed for more colonialism.

Trump is pushing things back in the wrong direction.

he also has gotten something like 400,000 children killed via cutting USAID. Because they couldn't bring out a starving orphan to show him for every program that existed within 2-3 days, he cut it all.

I think the system that allows people to accumulate huge amounts of wealth while paying no taxes is bad, but people who run companies in amore ethical way (costco gives employees stock and pays waaay more than any other retailer) are still doing a good thing.

2 months ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yah well guess what, the PR worked. Paying employees well, keeping costs low (everything is low price) might be things you do to maximize profits but I'll take them over people who treat employees like shit and keep costs high.

The very biggest horses and cows get there, but those are also much larger than you're probably thinking of when you think of a horse or cow. Dairy cows are on the smaller end of cows and most horses you ride at fairs are on the smaller side, or they're actually ponies.

I do think people overplay the generational wars, but like.

This isn't true. At all. You are just making shit up.

"Picking a definition" bro I'm using wikipedia. And no, porn/hooters aren't objectification per se. There is crossover and correlation like the guy catcalling women does probably does go to hooters and does objectify women there. (Just because waitresses are okay with people looking doesn't mean its okay to be "that guy.") But again, the point is literally just "think about the person and try to empathize with them" rather than just being a prude or a pervert.

Not even. Objectification is literally, like, treating someone like an object. Ignoring their own wants or desires or humanity. Think cat-calling, unsolicited dick pics, trying to peak down a blouse or up a skirt. Looking at a hot model posing sexily as part of a photoshoot for public distribution and going "Yowza" is not objectification, since you're very much respecting what their intent was with the photo shoot, which was to make people (including strangers!) go "yowza"

There's a difference between objectifying them and recognizing their objective attractiveness.

That's on you lol. Stevie Wonder is older but he's one of the greatest living artists. John Legend and Jennifer Hudson aren't as significant but they've definitely had a lot of big hits and awards.

Not to be the cynical millenial here, but politics is a dismal game of terrible political tradeoffs. Carney is not the greatest, but relative to what you can typically expect I'd say he's good.

2 months ago | Likes 26 Dislikes 2

PP has been extremely loud, he's just not making headlines, because canada has trump as an example to the south, and Carney is successfully making politics boring.
