They come out around 2hrs before sunset and start calling. Then once the sun goes down, I dont hear them. They're there, but I won't hear them.
They're beautiful to listen to.
Yes!!!! They can land next to you and you do not hear a thing!!! I hope there's plenty in 100 years myself. I'll be gone this year, and I feel so much sadness for those who are being born today. I love animals, and once I (saddeningly) got rid of the pack of wild bulldog mixes wreaking havoc here in the area, the animals have come out of nowhere and are all over this field. The lady I live next to says she hadn't seen this many animals in years.

Normally yes. But these owls are heavily into BDSM. So I do it to berate them. I mean, you see how they look at me, right? 🤣 all jokes aside, I didn't know that. It might be why they come over so often as I do that to every animal I see. I'm gonna stop clicking for owls from now on.
I can't drive, and a connection in Florida sun is definitely not sweet. After this past year, I'm struggling to find any way I can to keep moving forward.
This is why I always keep one pocket with turds in it, and one pocket with hot dogs in it.
That's what got me into this situation.
I've never seen a single one. Lots of deer, raccoons, possum, and a TON of rabbits. I had a wild pack pack of 7 dogs that would come through, and once they attacked my maltipoo bff, I had to dispatch them. 😟 I had hoped I could one day befriend them. But since they've been gone, wildlife has surrounded me. But the owls have caught my heart.
I am a princess already. And yes, that squirrel may not have been crazy, but I can attest that I've seen it's nuts.

Awesome work! Those were the days when plywood was far more affordable! With the cost of good plywood these days ($120 for ¾x60x60 BB) I've gotten away from box frame style and back into lumber style structures. It's been more affordable to get hard maple and M&T it (which I never thought could be the case.) Keep up the great work!!!

Are the sluminum inlays just for support? And how does it perform with bevels?
And, it's not a lathe. It does Mortise and Tenon joints to perfection! It works off a template that I make,and it replicates it horizontally

The rest of the build, especially the dust collection, is fookin amazing! Clean up the plans, I'd throw $10 at ya for them, as would others!
You will HATE that 1617 base! Once you get desired depth, then lock it, bit moves. (Also, have a lot of c-clips handy.)

I've been near 55 gal drums being opened with months old bodies in them in hot sun. These traps take a close 2nd place in smell.
to do it? The hinge side door/jamb are as tight as it can be to the door itself. Thanks btw!! 2/2
Thank you. The door hinges and door are true. The jamb itself is swollen/twisted. Can I sand/plane it as temp fix? Is there better way 1/2
