Because I was not making any money at my job (the non profit was my full time gig, my wife paid all the bills) I paid way less than a 'normal' minimum payment. Due to that, the interest kept building. The shit part of the predatory student loan industry is when I graduated I owed around $90k, and it ballooned to the $120k over the decade.
February is when I did the last needed payment. Still had to pay every month until June to stay current. They sent a check to refund the last one, though. So 5 months for me. Hope yours is soon!
Thinking about it. Gotta get some of those big bags with the dollar signs on them first.

I know a now 12 year old sociopath. She is being raised in a loving family with three sisters and lots of support. He sisters are all normal girls, ages 19 to 16. This kid would kill you with a bitter knife and feel nothing but annoyance that she had to wash it before she made a sandwich. This kid is fucking scary. Zero empathy, zero care of consequence that is not direct physical threat to her and her alone. She creeps me the fuck out.

Well, helium escapes from the atmosphere so we are running out of it here, and solar wind is partially made of helium from our little star, so there is a thin atmosphere of about 1 meter of helium on the surface of the moon. One of the reasons China is really interested in creating a moon base. Bit of vacuum compression and you have a renewable source of a previously non-renewable resource. And a toe hold to keep everyone else off your rock. Sounds like a net gain for up front cost to me.

I bought one that is detachable and has a handle. Magnets to the engine block. Using it right now. I think it was $35(US) or so. My current hybrid plugin seems to be made of mostly aluminum and plastic where I can get at it, so I just laid it on the top of the aluminum part. Have not actually tried to start the car, though.
