"Practice does not make perfect. Only perfect practice makes perfect" If you practice something wrong, you'll only get very consistent and natural at doing it wrong.
The joke here is that the answer is 120, and 5 factorial (notated as 5!) is 120, and also if you just do the math incorrectly, it's 5.
5 = 5, but 5! = 1*2*3*4*5 = 120.
@sleeperkid Where is your source that he ran 988lifeline or the 988lifeline chat? This guy is obviously a fucking weirdo, but do you have any source for that, I can't confirm that anywhere.
No it happened because republican politicians wanted power, and inventing a problem and then delivering the solution to their constituents has been how they have seized and kept power for decades.
Yeah I mean a better way than this, a machine that was invented like 80 years ago.
It's crazy that in basically 80 years we haven't really figured out a better way to get rid of stumps.
Academic CRT is a perspective that looks at laws and institutions and examines them through the lens of race. It actually doesn't look at what grandma is saying at all.The backlash to CRT is a republican manufactured culture war topic that allows republicans to do two things at once. Invent a problem for their base that they can solve (with cuts to public education, which makes private schools more money), and paint democrats as the enemies of white people.
What is being described is the fact that your world view and belief system is largely informed by your upbringing and environment, and not primarily genetic or innate. So when a person is racist, it's very likely because they were taught to be racist. It's not at all talking about how everyone has subconscious internal prejudices because of the way that the human brain works, or that we live in a society that is prejudiced, and that prejudice bleeds into everything, even if it's not explicit.
If it's the lyndon b johnson quote it's "If you can convince the lowest white man he's better than the best colored man, he won't notice you're picking his pocket. Hell, give him somebody to look down on and he'll empty his pockets for you."This quote is a big reason why I hate and blame politicians for this kind of behavior more than poor white people who have lived all their lives under propaganda.

I wouldn't either, that's why I said self described. Capital L Liberals are much worse.
When I say "I don't understand the panic" I mean the total overall actions of the public, not the individual actions. Why is there a panic to get toilet paper when it's something that most people would have a back supply of that can last the entire shortage? It's probably just due to media consumption, but it seems so irrational.
As a single adult it takes me 3 years to go through a 12 pack of decent stuff (3 months/roll). I've never really understood the panic to go out and buy rolls of toilet paper during natural disasters because of it.
Idk, most self described liberals I meet are pro war, pro deregulation and privatization, pro capitalism, pro status quo. I would not describe anyone who calls themselves a liberal as woke.
Crazy that no one has ever seen the 5'11" vs 6' meme in the comments. Maybe that meme is too old?
Companies should also probably know that this will happen. Don't name your game "Pokemon Masters EX" when that spells out "Pokemon Master Sex".
It's because they draw anatomy so exaggerated. If you see a random body part that just looks off, and it's very large, like a tail or thighs it's a good bet that they also draw porn.
I think a lot of people might not like beans in chili because they either bought canned stuff where it's just being used as a way to water down the amount of meat being used, or they had home cooked chili where the beans weren't being cooked properly and were hard or bitter. A properly made chili with beans is great, but if I'm buying a can I'm getting no beans. Especially the brand I like, the no beans is like a paste and the beans is watery. Especially when I add to mac n cheese.
They initially got shipped together because Calli is the Grim Reaper and the aspect of Death while Kiara is a Phoenix and is the aspect of Life.
Fuck blood clots.
I think that viewing trump as a guy who wants to give all his buddies money and be a person that people respect explains a ton of his behavior. In this case you can follow the money.
This is EVERY disruptive tech company. Netflix, every AI company, etc. Any company that offers a product at a low price in a new industry is aiming to own 100% of that industry, and relies on capturing a ton of the market for that industry AND avoiding regulation to become profitable.
If "didn't vote" was an option for president, they would have won the plurality for the past 100 years of races. This was the highest VEP % turnout in an election in the past 50 years other than 2020. To change this you have to put up candidates that are more exciting than the couch (and make it so that people can actually vote and not risk losing their income to do so.)
I think people like making the "the sequel doesn't exist" joke more than they like thinking about if they actually like the sequel or not.
A lot of people would rather blame the people that are being groomed than take a step back and identify the source of the problem because it's obvious that they are acting poorly, and not as obvious that there are people that want them to act poorly and are training them to do so on purpose.
The abrupt stop the the music in the middle had me checking all my tabs.
It's all contents of a stream, and even if you opt out with the option, a streamer with the option enabled will allow your chat messages in their stream to be used for training.
It's actually insane now how normalized the islamophobia was at the time that people watched these things.
You think voters picking between two shit choices are more powerful than the giant political machine creating the two shit choices? We absolutely have to change the minds of the public, but if we don't end up changing the structures of politics as they currently exist, we will not make any real progress.Elect more democrats is not the answer to this problem. Obama had an insane democratic majority and a mandate from god and he just maintained the status quo of imerialism and capitalism.
