I'm not terribly complicated, really.
I'd love to just pack the full knowledge of muppets into my brain. Instead i make non-muppet things in my free time. I'm there in spirit, if not in life.

I see no issue in staying prepared in case my stupid body doesn't know i'm not in a texas summer anymore. Rather have it than not, cause needing things like that as a tourist is a great way to get overcharged.
I tried the hobbing thing on a lathe once. It was pretty ineffective, and it took a while to work out exactly how big the gear should be so i don't cut teeth on top of other teeth. It didn't really work for me, and felt dangerous.
It's got portals, it's not a port exactly.
