As an Australian, my local Big W has a guy that does exactly that.
Double standards? In both cases we're trying to reinforce tolerance, that one person's actions don't reflect the whole community.
I've seen a Reinhardt on my team smash it into a nearby wall to contain it, then put up his shield. Saved us all and was pretty epic.
Only once we get to the age of commonly available plate armour. For a lot of history, people would wear little armour but carry a shield.
That's actually just a really prevalent houserule, not a standard rule of the game. Editions 3, 4 and 5 at least had nothing like that.
Then when she does "win" it's because he though she was defeated (which she basically was) and because she had an Awakening of the Force 2/2

Because the foundation of the country is a revolution and a civil war. Guns are an important part of America's history as a symbol of that.

Either way, medieval weapons are a pain to maintain so you're probably just as well off with a claw hammer or a baseball bat in the long run
Not to mention that a sword of any kind is very good for attacking an opponent's extremeties so you don't have to get as close to them. 2/2
Katanas are actually weighted in such a way that it's easy for average joe survivor to use. The old haft&head weapon is way harder (1/2)
Yes, it's about making sure that the edge connects with the target and cuts when you strike instead of slapping them with the flat.
Oh no doubt, the guy was out of line but the point stands. Vader never hesitated to hand out some Diet Choke for personal reasons.

To be fair in New Vegas you can be 100% baby eating evil and still end up considered a saint because certain random enemies give +karma.
As far as I was aware it was a war of secession. The actual conquerors would be the Aldmeri, the mutual enemy of Ulfric and the Empire.
The Imperials aren't exactly "occupying" Skyrim. It's been a part of the Empire since it was founded by Talos.

Not necessarily, I lost Lydia for a long time, ended up using the console commands to teleport to her. She was just stuck and couldn't move.
