lol. And corporate democrats are going to help?
As a healthcare worker. I work on holidays. I’m doing my part for trumps vision, how about the rest of you freeloaders out there! Lol.
He’s such a tough guy! I tremble.
So…that is absolutely a call advocating violence, and it’s far more aggressive than simply saying “fuck Nazis.” But, standing alone in an online comment without a specific target, plan, instruction, or imminent situation, it would likely still be constitutionally protected speech under the very broad protections of the First Amendment. Pretty amazing, am I right? That’s your right!
Unless you’re actually saying something like, “Let’s go attack a Nazi,” simply expressing hatred or contempt for an ideology is still protected speech. It goes both ways. Free speech means you have the right to say you hate Nazis, and Nazis have the right to say things you and I may find disgusting. The line is crossed when speech becomes a genuine threat, incitement, or a call for violence, not simply because someone said something offensive.
Words, right? You just proved my point. You don’t have to respect Nazis—or anyone else’s beliefs. You can hate their ideology, criticize them, insult them, and say “fuck Nazis” all day long. That’s your right. But opposing someone’s beliefs and advocating violence against people because of their beliefs are two different things.
All religion is false.
Best command and conquer actor in the entire series.
People can say whatever they want in this country with few exceptions. They can shill for the IDF or Hamas. This is not the same as yelling fire in a crowded theater. It’s everyone’s constitutional right here in America. Including non citizens. You don’t have to agree with it, but we all have to respect it and continue to talk to one another.
Everything reminds me of her.
Save him, only to eat him later.
Not sure if that was a slight towards my comment. What I was getting at was that the fact no one said “I’m willing to die for my country, or for the love of my country or for what it represents, “should” be alarming.
Not one of them said for the love of my country.
There’s plenty of things I’d like to see advance. Medicine. Transportation. Energy. But I get what OP is saying here.
Am I the only one that thinks the Armand Assante Oddysey was superior to Christopher Nolan’s?
Love how she needed almost no $ to win her primary. I hope most of it went to gas, travel, food and lodging. This is what all elections should be about. Simple messages, then vote. She will get crushed in November.
I’ve said this everytime I see something like this. The military votes overwhelmingly for republicans and yet they started the Iraq 1&2, Afghanistan, and Iran wars. Costing lives and money with almost no return in establishing democracies or actual monetary return. Plus they constantly cut veteran benefits. Made a ton of cuts at the VA almost immediately into trumps last term here. Etc.
He’s only doing it because it ‘does’ work. Not in MN though.
"Because he stole John Wick's car, sir, and, uh... killed his dog."
It would be one thing if this at least helped bring down crime. I’m guessing it hasn’t. What’s the ultimate use of these flock cameras then? To watch me go to go on a walk around my block?
Worse. They’ll be convinced that it’s the democrats fault. Lol.
Oh yea I get why the political party would want to do that. But when asked by a journalist or someone. What do they say? Like “because it costs too much money” or something like that? Or do they just know they’re unaccountable and do it and say nothing to the Public?
Can anyone tell me what their rationale for closing polling stations is? I know it’s gotta be bs but I was just curious. Or do they have no explanation.
Spin not skin*
So yea. The next time you need emergency care during a pandemic. Your nurse very likely has to take care of more patients than they did prior to or during the COVID pandemic. You will not know this, we are constantly told what skin to to say to patients when faced with increased wait times and such. Some nurses comply. I tell them straight up and then say call your Congress person or vote accordingly. So far I haven’t gotten in trouble or talked too. I’ve been doing that for 10 years.
I myself am picking up significantly less than I do in the ER at one Hospital I work at and picking up more at the other hospital. Where they just did the same thing, albeit at 7pm rather than all day. So I just don’t work after 7pm at that other place. Oh by the way. That hospital that I work at where the cuts happened “only at 7pm”. They’re going through a huge merger so prices will naturally increase while medical outcomes won’t get better.
The result is simple. Nurses are being disciplined more for mistakes that would not have happened before with less patients and more aides (or really what it’s always been). And patient care is suffering more than ever. Hence, we are less able to handle a rush of people coming in from a mysterious virus that is causing pneumonia all over town. Nurses are making the decision that they would rather learn a different skill than suffer the indignity of losing their job or worse.
We have millions of n95s. I’m just talking about my own healthcare system I work for. I actually work for two. Both are the same. Masks and protective equipment aren’t a problem anymore. It’s patient ratios. At the beginning of the year my company thought it was a good idea to cut the budget for staffing models. So Instead of 3 patients in the er I now get 4. The same thing happened for techs or aides. So we are spread thinner and have the same amount of responsibility and accountability.
I’m a nurse and work in a major metropolitan ER. I can tell you this much. In some ways (the worst ways) we are less able to handle a pandemic if it happened again today.
lol my bad.
