I really hope you're right. I used to think the world at large just needed to be better educated; "If only they knew." Studies show most people get set pretty early on and don't change their mind unless they personally experience it, (sometimes not even then). Maybe it's a lazy hack, but I just try to motivate people in their ignorance, vs try to teach them the truth.
Oh! That's interesting. Science really is a never ending journey of getting it more and more right. (I guess the findings just aligned with what I see about gendered issues in science so I didn't look into it further; (mostly male rats for drug testing, female patients being ignored and under diagnosed, etc)

I got 1st game (Gnomes at Midnight) signed at a board game cafe where I had been going to their designer night for months. The publisher was a local company, and popped by sometimes. My 2nd game (Block and Key) got signed at a convention. I had met the publisher at a previous convention.
