Well, flies exist in both Europe and North America, so...

I'm in Ireland, and we do leave the butter out (in a dish with a lid) in the winter, as the house isn't heated enough to cause issues (~19C/66F), but even here in summer, it lives in the fridge. In continental Europe in summer, I'd say you get butter soup in an hour or so.

Apart from cats, flies also exist in Europe...

I've seen that issue, but the car is now too old/slow to be a theft target, and is in a driveway, not on the street.

My mother in law still has a 2003 206 - she only goes to the shops (0.5 miles), so it only has 26k miles on it.

Looks ok for a back-street job, the interior shots shows all of the roof struts/ribbing are repaired to original shape. I'd sooner have a crash in that vehicle than some of the cut-and-shut jobs I've seen on here, where they cut up cars and ship them in containers (they fit more in), and then weld them back together, creating weak points across all the major structures.

A UK insult, comparing the person to the glans of the pen1s, the shape of which resembles a bell.

Don’t forget hydro-power

This (level of stupidity) is common enough - I read an interview with a UK actor who played a character in a UK soap opera who was bullying/coercing his wife, and he said that he was often accosted in the street about "his" behaviour and told to knock it off, etc.

#13 Interesting that Ireland is the only country outside Africa that fits that criterion, and that one of those African countries' flag is the same as the Irish flag, but reversed (Côte d'Ivoire/Ivory Coast).

I remember reading it as picture-skew (picturesque)

Hmm, no leg reflection probably means you're right.

If we're collectively too stupid to keep away from the carbon-based fuels, then we don't deserve to exist.

No alterations required - she's holding a mirror with a gilt frame, and it's reflecting a part of the garden behind the camera which looks the same as the bit of garden behind her - a few calls by the photographer whilst looking through the viewfinder, to get the mirror lined up, and then shoot.

Zefal HPX pump too. Those look like Columbus tubing decals, rather than Reynolds ones.

The links are not in your posts because you are a real human user of Imgur. However, to some unfamiliar users, your account looks a little like the bot accounts that disguise the links with nice pictures and memes. Don’t worry, those of us familiar with your account know you are not a bot, and your posts are always welcome.

Yeah, but chicken tax, so there’s none of these in the US (and the rest of the world gets to enjoy the SUV plague, thanks guys).

Tu patrón de publicaciones se asemeja al de una cuenta automatizada, que publica cosas graciosas, pero con un enlace a malware o basura barata para comprar incluido casualmente en algún lugar. / Your pattern of posting resembles an automated account, which posts funny stuff, but with a link to malware or cheap rubbish to buy casually included somewhere in the middle

He's a Spanish guy who posts interesting stuff he finds online during his lunch break. He's got a good eye for the interesting & unusual.

She’s lucky that the quad didn’t fall on her and pin her underwater.
