Was thinking that too but if you look carefully near the end the vase's narrowest is the full radius of the hole, I think it just looks smaller because of the shape, our eyes see the much wider parts above and below and doesn't do a great job of measuring how big the narrowest part is. The drill actually moves back to the centre before coming up because it's pushing larger than it's own size by just enough to fit.

AI's don't choose random numbers, they are far more likely to say certain numbers than others as there is no real randomness, its' just giving you the number it thinks is most likely. I have a friend who uses AI as a DnD GM, they need to do their own rolls as otherwise the AI just does 'rolls' based on what they think is fine.

Yeah I forget the term but they have low conductivity (heats very slowly) but also low heat capacity maybe, it works great short term, but if you have to hold something hot for a while, the glove itself will get quite hot and it loses heat also very slowly. If an animal in the wild dies for no apparent reason, it's likely sick or poisoned. Maybe predators wont eat an already dead creature for this reason.
