I see it all the time in videos. Like, in Japan, a Japanese person will ask random people on the streets how they feel about Americans. Their responses are rarely ever kind. It's the same in a lot of other countries. They all call us loud, obnoxious, rude, etc. Say they wouldn't want us to move there, or be their neighbors. Maybe not everyone, but a lot of people. I certainly wouldn't feel welcomed anywhere. Not like I do here, either.
I wish I had it in me to do something like this...or just jump off a fucking bridge. I absolutely cannot tolerate what the world has become, and what is happening in the US. And I'm not about to go be a burden on some other country. Besides, it seems like everyone around the world just HATES all Americans now, regardless of whether or not we're actually good/decent people.

I love how people use pictures from a photoshoot, or a red carpet appearance, next to a photo of them looking like an every day Joe, and they're like "OMG WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS PERSON?!" Like, that is what they look like when they're not being shot from the best angle possible, while having professionally applied makeup on their face, professional hair styling, and a finely curated wardrobe. I bet even Hollywood's finest MUAs could make me look like $10 instead of a debt.

The shitty part in all of this is that it's a disease that isn't going anywhere. We've created a consumerism monster from hell. We could all slow down, spend less, replace things that are still good/working/in good condition WAAAY LESS often, etc...but that's like saying "let's end racism!" What always strikes me as odd - is you NEVER hear of people policing the mens' rooms. I've yet to hear of someone being asked to leave a urinal for looking "too feminine" in a mens' restroom.
There are literally schools with security cams in classrooms and hallways. Parents DO get shown how out of nowhere their kid just violently attacks another student, unprovoked, and they're like "no, that wasn't him. He's such a sweet boy at home. Why didn't the teachers do anything?!"

Every time I see these kinds of posts I am reminded of every time my female ass DOES INDEED ask my guy friends, my partner (who is over 50), my male cousins, my dad, etc, how they are/if there's anything they wanna talk about/if everything is ok...and all I ever get is "I'm good, I'll be fine. I don't want (or sometimes replace that with need) to talk about anything." Pressing more just makes them pissy, so all I can do is drop it, but keep asking regularly. I'm ALWAYS shoved away, tho.
