And this was for longer flights, not just short. Also seat cushions are removable if you recall your safety inserts.
I operated the aisle chair. There was strict policy to never operate with other passengers present because it is not a dignified process.

I have 3 acres of flowering trees to for bees. And my neighbor has 5 acres of dandelions. Bees are in good shape out here.
Most civilized places in the world a non-compete is tough to enforce because the courts tend to frown upon putting people out of work.
