The US was supposed to be the beacon of freedom. Slavery goes against the idea the country was built upon. All men were created equal.
Well that war wasn't so much for the slaves, as people are taught to believe. And even if it was, thank god it happened. Slavery is shameful
That still doesn't mean that slavery in the US hasn't had a huge impact on society...
Because it takes hours sifting through the absolute cesspool that 4chan is to get the good posts.
