Fellow human. Doing human things. Like breathing and such stuff.

So glad someone posted it.

Helping someone going through a tough time, their Doctor gave me some pretty sound advice but a simple trick to help.

When they're struggling, try changing these things: activity and location.

It doesn't have to be monumental. Simply getting them to a different room, or outside, and getting them doing something else can help dramatically in, at least temporarily, grounding them. The smells, the lighting, space. Writing, drawing, reading, walking. Anything.

That's wild. I just had a dream that I was driving a horse and cart. And being chased by a Sheriff in a Dodge Charger. I lost them because I trained my horse to jump while they're harnessed and I could "olley" the cart over obstacles. But the cart flipped and the horse bolted, so I had to run on foot.

These are Bob Ross paintings. Can't trick me.

I would, if I wouldn't immediately regret it because now I have to clean them.

It starts with resting in my pants, but then the rest of the gang shows up and resting turns to knives out fighting, in close proximity to exposed sensitive areas.

Yea... Cars aren't supposed to have bow waves.

In case you've never heard of it, there's something that pretty much every flight school offers called a discovery flight. It's usually about $100, sometimes cheaper at the flight schools that operate out of smaller airfields. So if you ever get the money to fly, consider trying that. A certified instructor takes you up and lets you take the controls. Whole flight is about an hour.

On these newer engines a couple seconds is right. Incredible engineering, exceptional pilots.

Well done surviving all the bullshit.

I'm also fairly certain all of that smoke and debris is unusual.

Technically, they aren't appointed by the President. They're nominated by the President and confirmed by the Senate.

I reckon you're right. And I figure he blew them off one way or another. He's shown a lack of respect at nearly every diplomatic event.

If it's mental decline, it's understandable. But my guess is that the man is the problem. Courtesy and genuine respect for fellow human beings, even a SLIGHT bit of curiosity and interest in the traditions and culture of others, would guide you to do the right thing here and meet with some of the folks who have gathered (many of which must be important leaders). But this man is just so full of himself, so plagued by narcissism, so shackled by racism, he is incapable of experiencing humanity.

The hero we didn't know we needed.

I fully agree with this sentiment. Some countries may be lucky to have good leaders. But largely the world seems to be ruled by people who will always choose the suffering of others if it means they get what they want.

Faeries. But the Old World faeries. Generally speaking. Fae looks are a good thing. Think LOTR elves and you're on the right track.

M3 Grant. Notice the lack of a commander's cupola, turret cheeks are more rounded, and it isn't as flush with the upper hull.

Got curious myself. Apparently this fella is Jeremy Kauffman. NH Libertarian Party member. Used the party's account to post the tweet. Stands by it. Admits as much in an interview with BlazeTV on Youtube (thanks Google). Went on his personal account to blame the FBI doing its job on "the Democratic regime manifest". And that's the end of my interneting for the day. Take care.

Swimming pools? An interesting public works to focus on. Why swimming pools? Does the US really have so few? It doesn't seem like it in my hometown. Then again, I do live on the "nice" side of town in a pretty big, progressive city. Is this one of those societal measuring sticks that I've just never considered?

I want one.

Pretty much any metal/rock song that has long, hypnotic intervals is TOOL. They are masters of music. In the world of rock, Deftones and TOOL are some of the only bands I've ever heard that manage to weave intricate harmony to their sounds (I don't know the appropriate musical terms). Not all of their songs, to be sure, but a good many.
