Essentially, the concept of being crucified with Christ is the death of the self. Living for God instead of your own selfish/soulish desires. If they're wishing Tallarico was dead, it can only be in the last part of hoping God stops Tallarico "by any means necessary."
Most modern Christians don't realize that Paul preached a gospel unique from Peter and the other apostles, nor that they are not under the Mosaic law. Christians are to teach that God is presently conciliated to the world and they should in turn seek to be conciliated to Him. (2 Cor 5:19. "Reconciliation" in the typical translations is erroneous). At the same time, love for as preached by many on the left would not have been embraced by Paul, either.
I think they meant independent in the sense of not being affiliated with a news outlet. Reporters typically state their name and organization before asking their questions. If there's an ongoing relationship (e.g. Whitehouse press pool), it might be skipped because the reporter's identity is established already.

Is it, though? Best case, the car does a slight bump, you destabilize and spill. Maybe some speed gets bled off in that moment. Worst case, the car has some speed, and the person impacted is launched in a new, unplanned direction.

He was in Barbie. That would be pretty recent. I feel like he slowed things down after getting the Mark Twain award. But it could just be that I don't happen to watch a lot of his stuff.
