I wouldn't be surprised to find out the Twitter purchase was a failed pump and dump. Just said that he wanted to buy to pump the stock price, much like how he said Tesla was going to accept DogeCoin. He just got forced to buy Twitter after he tried to back out. Of course, the renaming to X was indeed his ego. He tried so hard to rename Paypal during the merger.
I got mine out a couple of months ago. Total time in the hospital was roughly 36 hours with very small scars. Good luck!
