Wood worker. The BDSM cart is much bigger!
No, I just recently built a new workshop and my last one was such a cluster fuck that I've prioritizing organization in the new one

Yup. Old desk fan taken apart and reused.
Dogs only go out when I do so until I get a cap for the center of the roof it's going under a tarp everynight and the bed comes inside.
Soooo this isn't what she ment when she told me to make the bed?
Plan is to have the house sold well before that. Ground contact, pressure treated 4x4s. All cuts sealed. Wont last forever, but long enough
Was a good learning experience for sure
Had steps squared off to slab. After removing slab I realized it wasn't perfectly square to house. Had to readjust position of steps
Originally didnt plan on making the bigger top step. Was concrete slab there. After digging oug steps I decided to replace slab
...as I started working on drawer #2 I realized the main reason. The taller dividers make the back sections inaccessible.
Was suppose to be originally. B4 I glued it I pieced it together in the grooves and they were just too deep. Ripped an inch off then glued
Thanks. It's a win/win tho. She's happy, I got to play w power tools and don't have to hear her fuss about finding the cork screws lol
Less than an AA meeting
I definitely enjoy woodworking. She didn't ask for this, I just paid attention to her frustrations w the drawer and took it upon myself
Haha good point. We've been together forever that it's easier to just use those terms
Between renovations and upgrading tools I'm right there w ya. Maybe we need part time jobs for the employee discount? Lol

Just dumb luck w time of day lol just started taking before/afters for reference. Wish I had done it w previous renovations as well

My soil is rocky. Cant get a good scoop w shovel. Swinging pick wore me down, and I swing a sledge hammer for a living
Guesstimating 25-30 hrs. Did a few hrs daily after work during week, a full Saturday, then half of sunday for final touches/clean up
3/4" oak plywood. Had a piece of 1x3 oak w curve. Clamped between 2 blocks for 48 hrs to straighten. Didn't work. Hopefully lid stays flush
Gravity lol new to woodworking. Should I anticipate it bowing? Maybe I'll make a recess in bench and lid for magnets to hold it down?
It does. It's an entry way bench to store shoes. Big enough for my work boots. Sturdy enough to sit on to avoid walking far with them on
You and my stepdaughter would probably get along great lol
As long as you stay out of my house I can 100% guarantee that your knee will be fine
