No joke, I think I did.
Imagine getting rushed to the hospital and the traffic causes you to die because you cant make it there in time. Its not exactly victimless, and thats the most extreme example I can give. Missed an appointment and someone doesn't get to their child to pick them up on time, or a job interview that will prevent them from being homeless.
Double it for the next guy.
ITS A BIPARTISAN THING THAT WE ALL HATE DST. Imgur last year was all for abolishing dst, this transcends Trump/Republicans. I dislike Trump, but I'd be insane to not agree with getting rid of the penny/abolishing DST.
You're the one crying like a whiny bitch about seeing sunlight.
I want to see the darkness, not sunlight, I have a job that benefits from normal time. Suddenly, the mass depression, massive scientific studies, and everything else is irrelevant all because someone's feelings are more important than someone else's feelings.
That's why sensors are cool and all for soap dispensers, but at the end of the day aren't you just...... literally washing your hands after touching the soap dispenser? I mean.... we're not crazy right?
Aw man, you should at least make an effort to serve some vegan food for them. Balsamic vinegar or glaze is so good with peppers and other things. I'm not vegan, but I eat a lot of vegan recipes bc of reflux.
Yeah, they overproduce meat. They probably should not do that. Chicken wings should also probably fade out of existence. The conditions of some facilities are TERRIBLE, and they should be held accountable for that. Your stance is literally not convincing anyone of anything other than the fact that you, as a person, suck. Meat isn't going anywhere. Educating people on the issues that matter and how we can be smarter about it is more effective than this dumb shit you're doing.
I'm right there with you. One is a city map, the other is a battlemap. Battlemaps are like this for simplicity's sake and for movement. I don't want yo argue about whether the tile that has 80% of it covered by a building is a tile you can move on to.
See, that's where I'm getting confused. Because looking up the definition of libertarianism, it would fit the mold for liberalism and wokeness. It seems like some on the right adopted the term and didn't fit the mold and now it's lost it's original meaning.
Well, yeah, it's a parallel to real life. It's already hard enough to get a pass to Disneyland, so poorer people can't make it happen. Then the people who aren't as poor, but could have to spend half the time waiting in line for rides after having shelled out thousands. Now you've got the VIP people, who aren't nearly as poor as the middle class or poor people, skipping the lines and saving time because they have the special privileges. It's not your fault, it's the way it's structured.
Don't shoot me, but genuine question. Is the term Libertarian reduced to extreme variations of the ideology? I mean, if I am left leaning in economic/business policy, but socially libertarian is that a thing? Like what do you call it when you don't give a shit what people do with their lives or bodies as long as they contribute to society like everyone else either economically, socially, or some other way.
Go work waitstaff at a restaurant or just take anything.
That's the fucking problem is paying people well though. In this country how well do they generally pay people? How many jobs are sourced to other countries and immigrants because that's just the cheaper way to do things. I wouldn't expect that if tipping were abolished that the majority of these workers would ever get paid fairly.
I think Harris ran a decent campaign... given the fact she had such a short time to do it. But here's the main problem, why do the Democrats rely so much on the Mainstream media to be their ally? They absolutely did not do the Dems any favors at all. Trump went on Joe Rogan and did other interviews that were big. The top 20 podcasts are nearly all right-wing. You have someone who can prosecute the details of the case, but not have the personality needed to gain the common man's vote.
And it all falls on the shoulders of the DNC once again. They fucked us in 2016, and they fucked us in 2024. They can't be trusted to go with the will of the people. Imagine if they ran a primary instead of sticking Biden at the top of the ticket. I'm grateful for what Biden has done for the most part, but come on. The age thing mattered a great deal, and it should have mattered for the Republicans too, but they have no decency. We keep playing a game of decency when they throw sand in our eyes.
This is absolutely the case. The Democratic Party has shown time and time again how out of touch they are. Throwing Bernie under the bus, to running Biden until the last minute. Their voter messaging that alienates voters. If it was easy for a labor party movement to replace the Democrats without basically handing the Republicans a win, I would vote for them in a heartbeat. Give me better workers rights, give me better healthcare, give me better working opportunities.
The starlink thing has mostly been debunked as misinformation. It could not have helped from the standpoint that people are talking about. I do, however, think that it's a MAJOR conflict of interest if any election process coincides with Starlink. Elon Musk has been a major figurehead in the Trump campaign.
Whether it does or doesn't. If there was concrete proof, there would be an uproar. I'm not holding my breath for a unicorn here, but if they recounted and found discrepancies, I would be upset, even if it wouldn't hand Harris a win.
Here's what you fail to understand. I agree with you, those are horrible things. You and I can understand these things, but you know who struggles with it? 18-24 year olds. They have the emotional capacity of a walnut, they are easy to manipulate. Imagine being 16 and constantly hearing that white people suck, it makes you really question your worldview. I don't understand the need to attack any demographic, let alone the largest voting demographic.
What if this whole time it was just so he didn't accidentally get a boner.
Imperial is for contractors and folks who don't need to measure stuff with extreme precision so they can do the math better in their heads. Metric is for people who conduct scientific research or need to measure something with precision. It's standard in professional environments to use metric.
Yeah, then it can be an echo chamber of the highest quality for right wing goons to feed each other misinfo. Then when any normal people go onto the site that don't know any better or bc their friend showed them a funny meme they can be gaslit into becoming a part of the cult. I mean, it's a lose-lose. With an extra helping of.... lose.
Look, as impractical as I personally think they are. It doesn't really matter. If someone wants to make their own lives more technically difficult, unsanitary, etc. Because it makes them feel better about cosmetic nails.... let em. None of my business. If it makes them happy, it makes them happy. Just don't prep my food with them.
Thats...... not how that works dummy.
Dude, so agreed.
Dude, so many SP games is not even funny. Give me a game where I can enjoy a story with my pal. A good co-op game. I love experiencing things with other people, especially my friends. I hate that in order to enjoy SP games like Subnautica, ToS, or any of those games you have to jank it together with mods.
