In Asheville, NC they have basement brewers. They rent space in the basements of restaurants/pizza shops and distribute on a very small scale, usually just upstairs. If you ever wanted to try to do something bigger, using coop type spaces is a good way to lower overall risk. Also, it's very common for people to want to monetize hobbies, but that might be the capitalism showing.

I did this last year and am going to pick it up again. The key for me was building. I broke it down to 10 levels. Level 1 is 10 pushups.....
