That is my thought, but ophthalmologists (including mine) just say it is probably nothing to worry about...sucks not being taken seriously..
They do bear a striking resemblance...lol
I just did a research paper on the subject (albeit first year university level), and these are not collagen or phosphenes.
I went to my ophthalmologist and he said they are either the floaters (nope) or I am hallucinating (nope). Don't know where to go from here.
