In my experience, at the level of wealth you'd need to get a butler, people tend to be nicer. I call it the law of inverse wealth to pleasantry - the more wealthy a 'wealthy' person is, the less of an asshole they are. They have people to be assholes for them.
Okay, so there is at least a BIT of misinformation going on here. They've got complex overhaul in quotes like it's a load of hooey and its not. Nuclear powered Aircraft carriers do in fact require occassional RCOH (Refueling and Complex Overhauls) that require YEARS to finish (the baseline is four years).

Yeah, the weirdest part of Warhammer dwarf lore is that they apparently never invented the spear, and when someone showed them one they decided it was a load of hogwash because if it was that good, a dwarf would have thought of it first.
