In Canada, the $5 price is the every day price. We're getting screwed in America.

Is it because you found the dogs with the bucket of tennis balls? That's a valid reason, we'll see you tomorrow.

I talk to people in other countries and they're doing everything possible not to do business with America. Companies are finding other solutions from suppliers who are anywhere but America. These bankruptcies will only continue as our former allies are trying to sever ties with a country that is unpredictable and unreliable... one that adds and removes tariffs like they're diapers. Trump has ruined so many great relationships with allies, it's the worst thing he's done for our future.

I assumed that last sentence was sarcasm, because it doesn't make sense any other way.

This reminds me of something I wrote to Liquid Death. They stopped selling their drinks in normal sized 355ml cans. I wrote them a message and said I can't buy their product anymore because I don't have room in my fridge for the tall cans. They wrote back basically saying, "sorry but our consumers overwhelmingly prefer the tall cans". Then about two years later they brought the regular cans back.

Costco basically requires this. You'll notice that nearly everything at costco doesn't exist in that same configuration anywhere else. This is also why it often disappears, because it was a "special pack" and manufactures don't really like making things for just one retailer all year round. Many manufacturers use it as an opportunity to get you hooked on it so then you'll buy the regular configuration/quantity at other stores later.

If you played the same numbers every time would your odds still be the same over a lifetime as someone who only plays once? Asking for someone's mother.

Trump saying the US is subsidizing Canada is like saying Trump is subsidizing McDonald's. No, buying more from them than they buy from you is not a subsidy, it just means they have more of what you need than you have of what they need. There's no way a country with 10x the people isn't going to buy more than they sell to that country.

It's pretty suspicious that the most viewed show in the timeslot gets cancelled for "financial reasons". If the financial reasons aren't related to the show's performance, what are they related to I wonder... a merger going through perhaps?

All that matters is that you enjoy it, fuck what other people think. I live in southern California and I see people driving the base camaro rental cars up the coast every day -- those people couldn't care less what engine is in it, they're having their dream vacation. You get to drive it every day!

OMG, that's awesome. Whenever I see someone with a rad car at a gas station I always chat them up while they're filling... makes both our days.

On Friday I was picking my son up and when we came out there was a kid about 7 years old bent over staring at the front brake caliper. He asked, "What is that red thing?" I explained how it works and his eyes lit up so much. They often ask how much it costs and I say it's not about how much it costs, the important thing is that you enjoy it. Some people like cars, bicycles, gaming computers, etc and good people don't spend money on the expensive ones to impress anyone other than themselves.

I love that too! I was in my car one day and a guy parked, got out of his car, and was staring at the front of my car. He realized I was in the car, but when I hoped out he apologized and started to walk away. I just asked if he had any questions and he asked why the radiator was split in two and put on the sides instead of the middle (porsche). I said that there is actually a 3rd one in the middle too and the grill opens up when it needs to use that one. Then I got excited because he was, lol.

And they know that anyone a little tech savvy will just use a VPN and then they don't have to take on the photo ID liability but people can still use their site.

Even without youtube it still pulled an average of 2.4 million viewers per night in Q2 2025... it's the top viewed show in that timeslot. Max or Netflix should make him a deal asap.

CBS says it was for financial reasons, but Colbert's show is already the top rated show in his timeslot. Ah... the financial reason to get the merger done, now I understand.

It doesn't even cost that much to train a dog the basics, including not to bark. Buy some dog treats, watch some youtube videos, do what they did in the youtube videos.

Japan, where they actually think about and plan for the future they want in 20-50 years and not what needs to get done this year to get reelected next year. Americans who go to Japan will be embarrassed by how well they do so many things that we could and should be doing.
