But I am talking about *features* not being supported by IE, thus to support IE you have to do more work than necessary.

And I was talking about the features (older versions of) IE doesn't/don't support, which would have to be compiled in a way that it does.
Wait, so you'd suggest that missing one of those characters would give an error in IE but not in Chrome?
Well, to support IE (and the older-but-still-somewhat-used versions) you have to write (or compile your code to) pretty hack-ish code.
But do you have anything to back up your statement? Genuinely curious. 2/2
I'm talking about the fact that IE always comes way later with features than other browsers, which makes it hard to use new technologies.1/2
I'm sorry but how does IE "treat coders like they are smart"? Doing more work just to support IE doesn't make you smarter imo.
It's only if the word ends with a vowel. Example: Dutch word for car = "auto", plural = "auto's".
