I miss old Imgur before corporate greed and algorithms took over. It was fun while it lasted and shaped part of the artist I am today. 2025 was my anime redemption arc year 2026 is the year I get to build my glass shop!!!!! Commissions open, send me a DM! My rates are similar to a tattoo artist doing that special sleeve or back piece for reference. Insta-tok - Cellocalypse
Generally speaking, dont run the fingers along the glass to receive super paper cuts. I have a small brush that I frequently clear away shards. I got a decent one last week while moving a bigger sheet around. Now those have the potential of a very bad afternoon
CAUSE I AINT NO BI- haha. There are indeed two types of glass artists, my mentor being one that gets cut often. I rarely get cut, sometimes the occasional glass sliver but generally speaking, ya just dont run your finger along the glass to receive a glorified paper cut.
This is just getting it close. I fine tune every piece on my glass grinder. If it was a panel with simple large pieces, I'd barely if at all have to use my grinder if the cuts are accurate enough as the lead came has more wiggle room
I'm really glad ya enjoyed it! Sometimes I try to document the process and bring people along for it. When I can get internet set up I can't wait to get back into livestreams in my own environment!
I worked with a few people who like to just barrel through (halfass) the important parts and got all pissy when people slept on their work. Ya can't. Rush. Art!
Honestly it's a trait I've brushed off for years before I realized it's often what makes the finished piece stand out more. When I was blacksmithing, little flaws can be written off as 'rustic' but with glass it just looks terrible and there's no jedi mind tricks to convince people otherwise.
It'd better!! Hah! I'm really looking forward to seeing how all the colors get along!
Thank ya! Sometimes I try to bring people along for the ride!
Preesh!! Locking in and trying to channel a little lightning bolt of energy!
Preesh dude!! So far so good!
I appreciate ya!!! The gamecube controller and the shield found new homes. The N64 con is my baby and would have to be pryed outta my unconscious hands!
Autumn is upon us! (95 degrees this week)
Thank ya!! Wait till ya see how these new colors pop! The camera upgrade probably helps too!
That means a lot dude! I ordered a book that showed me what all the tools were and a basic kit off of amazon. I always recommend taking a class first before diving into it because ya dont wanna cheap out on the glass grinder and the soldering iron. There are a lot of tutorials out there now on social media that offer valuable knowledge. I cant name any rising/new ones but eringlassworks used to post a LOT of useful tips.
Something something THROUGH THE FIRE AND THE FLAMES WE CARERAY AHHHHHNNNNNNNNN
I'll try!! :D hope your weekend is going well!
Username checks out!!
I can dig it!! I always wanted to dabble with resin or glassblowing to see how I could make other mediums glow a certain way. Dont get me started on dioramas!
And yet here you are stirring the same pot of trivial bullshit when we could be focusing on the bigger issues. Yeah, he's a sack of shit. No, he should have never been in NK sleazing around. Does a picture of him falsely insinuating he saluted instead of shaking his hand or saluted him first accomplish anything? Nope.
Im not defending the massive sack of shit, Im pointing out that this is something petty and taken out of context to be jabbering over, there's way more important issues to be enraged about. Always quick to throw a label on someone that doesnt contribute to the echo chamber..huh
He passively returned a salute that was awkwardly given to him first and immediately went for the handshake. A sign that people see an image without watching the clip and getting fired up over something stupid
Wish we were more fired up about this than a bullshit screenshot to circlejerk over but let's blow a petty image way out of proportion, that'll make things change for the better
Yeah but how do you get internet points for that without twisting the context?
Thank you! It was whoopin me for a bit there but glad I didnt budge on adding the screen layers!
Starts off really triumphant and bridges into this epic battle theme. Like the cadence almost feels like a ship rocking back and forth in the middle of a terrible storm

After all the time I spent getting my ass kicked by it?!? Haha! It does sneak up on ya!
I never got to see any CSX heritage power when I was workin in their yard but my brother in law got to operate the 1776 (the military one, pretty sure thats the number) before he went back to carman
Much appreciated! I'll never get over that french horn!
Noice!!!
Always good to see ya :)
