I was trapped in a pretty toxic relationship with the Columbia House Record Club for almost a decade.

If I have my AI interview for me with their AI and it goes really well, do they hire me or, like, Claude or whatever?

with some taxidermy and a little bit of velcro, you could stick it back on if you don't shave your pubes. i can't think of a better way to break the ice at parties.

Sounds fantastic but I don't have 30 billion dollars.

Lemme guess. That donkey was Hamas?

It appears that Trump was joking at the time. You can tell because it's a morbid thing to say, something that no reasonable human being would think of, and it's not funny, yet his sycophants laugh at it nervously anyway, and that's what always happens when he tries to make a joke.

What I'm saying is that "he was just joking" makes it worse.

"I was talking about the other ships. The ones where the front doesn't fall off at all."

Pretty sure that's either Shawn or Marlon Wayans

It's not about the money, its about the privilege. If you can just be taxed like anyone else, or arrested like anyone else, or denied medical treatment like anyone else, what point is there in being wealthy and powerful? Laws aren't supposed to actually apply to you when you're that rich. People aren't supposed to say no to you. Doors are opened, people call. you "Sir", and you simply don't pay fucking taxes. He's defending the American way of life here (some terms and restrictions may apply).

"What websites should I block on my network to keep my employees from watching pirated movies online" was remarkably helpful.

Yes, she was hot, and yes, the show was about human-animal gene spliced super-soldier kids, but mostly I watched it because of the post-apocalyptic bike messengers chilling out, hanging with friends, and pissing off their weird boss. That was kind of an awesome vibe.

That's a lovely bunch of coconuts.

Nah. She'll just say that this is to crack down on all the "illegals" ripping off Medicaid or something, so it's fine. Religion destroyed her critical-thinking abilities decades ago.

I cannot stop laughing. That was awesome.

save us from what? what's it going to save us from, billionaire? what's this existential threat that humanity needs to be saved from?

The legal precedent has been that your fifth amendment rights protect you from being forced to reveal your password as that involves forcing you to potentially incriminate yourself. Your face and your fingerprint are not similarly protected, and you can be compelled to unlock a device with a face-scan or fingerprint.

Not that the current administration knows or cares about the difference, and they've already firmly established that the constitution isn't welcome at borders.

Loved the drums, lyrics were kind of depressing. Some guitar and bass would've helped this tune a lot.

I don't know you, stranger, but I like the way you think.

Make these kids sit through "Breakin' 2: Electric Boogaloo". It was enough to cure me of any interest in breakdancing, maybe it'll help them too.

Unfortunately, Matthew 19:14 is all I can come up with. "But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me"

"If every country agreed" is the part that makes this idea a fantasy rather than a solution. I'm in the US and we can't even get *this* entire country to agree that children's birthday parties are more fun when you don't invite the Nazis. The only way to make 8 billion people agree on something is to subjugate them completely, and that's just a different kind of evil.

I think this is a solvable problem, but the solution will have to account for human nature, and humans do terrible things.

Hard to say; I didn't comment either of those things. You thought them up, you'll have to tell us.

My parents are both trump supporters and i've asked these questions. For them it boils down to believing that Trump's a christian (i know, right?), that God put him in charge to fix America and make it a Christian nation, that all the stuff he says and Fox News says is true, everything else is a lie, anything he said that doesn't sound right was a joke, and anybody who disagrees is demon-possessed.

Unfortunately, there's no rationality left to have an argument with.

She's not right. She's daydreaming. Even if the entire world came together in an unprecedented show of reason, compassion, and responsibility and completely overhauled everything, it would only last until the first few started thinking about themselves, their greed, their desire for respect and power they feel they deserve. And then it starts all over again.

Humanity could be beautiful if it weren't for all the humans.

And, oh yeah, three of the airplane engines burned out
And we went into a tailspin and crashed into a hillside
And the plane exploded in a giant fireball and everybody died
Except for me
You know why?
'Cause I had my tray table up
And my seat back in the full upright position
Had my tray table up
And my seat back in the full upright position
Had my tray table up
And my seat back in the full upright position
