Most people I know go for the rides, concerts, games, debauchery. That stuff is a blast.
The 150-500 is heavy as hell, wish I had brought a monopod with me or something. Would really like to get their newer like 50-350 or whatever it is. Great lenses.
I understand that some people do not like the rodeo, which is valid. I don't usually attend it but this year I wanted to practice taking pictures of it, which I've never done before. I'm a wanna-be photographer and it was an opportunity so I went for it.
