Its pretty common to have hearing trouble when you have Poliosis. usually in one ear specifically. My wife used to work in the local deaf community and we saw this often.

Earl Norem, died in 2015. Comic book artist, novel covers, game book, you name it. Gave us some great classics, including some amazing Conan art.

as a kid in the late 80s we liver in a real rural area, and we had 3 wheelers and gas powered planes/rc cars. the batteries at teh time for rc took all day to charge and went out in about 20 minutes. gas was far more reliable at the time. expensive but more functional.
I never even knew about the master system until WAY after its time. I would have loved that thing, Hell I didn't even get a NES of my own till 92. In my area, by 97--98 a genesis was an easy buy. every game was 5 bucks, most times in case and everything. My allowance built up a great library in less than a year. I never knew at the time how lucky my ass was.
He's got kids to feed....
I would recommend picking that collection up, its pretty solid gameplay for the price.
He was gonna join the protest, but then an insurrection happened.....
gonna show this to my high school teacher wife and see if she can do one of her own for her kiddos.....
