Ours was around 25 lbs at 4 months, and she filled out around 62 lbs. (Shot when she was about 4 months)
Looks a lot like our Plott Hound / Lab / who knows what else mix. Love that brindle coat.

My parent's golden does this, she will even push the ball down the stairs if it doesn't roll on its own.
I would coat that with a spray on lacquer or shellac help keep the finish looking as nice as it does now.
