Just because the company mostly does work for DoD components doesn't mean they don't do work for other agencies or departments. We do tons of work for NOAA, NASA, USCG, DOT, etc that's aimed at keeping people safe or doing environmental research.

I'm all for universal healthcare, taking good care of the homeless and veterans, not getting into wars for oil, but at the same time I work for a defense contractor after getting removed from my federal job by Elon. It pays well.
