I recently watched a Canadian indie horror movie called Black Mountain Side from 2014. Its budget and inspirations are obvious. But the atmosphere is nicely done.
It all started when Satan gave him a taco.
There’s a pair of these that frequent my neighborhood. Last week I saw them with a third. I assume they have a kid now.

The ending is a bit weak. But the other 95% is pretty damn good.
I usually go mushroom hunting (with a camera) this time of year. But it’s so dry in northern Wisconsin that I have only seen two so far this year.Thanks for letting me live vicariously through these pics.
