They were elected out of spite for Obama and to own the libs. And anyway, their administration's position on affordability is now "I love the inflation" and "affordability is a hoax made up by the Democrats."

I remember back when this game first got big, I had an older coworker who got convinced by something they saw on the internet that Pokemon Go was telling kids to fry their phones in microwaves for "extra points." I failed to convince them that the truth was worse, that Niantic was gamifying giving them data.
They very much did then try to kill him because when he acted to fix things, corporations instantly reacted in a way to make everyone's lives worse whereas his fix would take time before anyone would start to see benefits from it. Just something for people to keep in mind if we manage to get some people interested in fixing things into positions of authority again.
