I get your point and I don't use wet as a noun personally. But I also don't decide how everyone else uses the word either. Clearly somewhere they do use it this way.

Thanks for posting the original source. It is of course intentionally misleading. They never compare apples to apples, always some random stat to another random stat with no correlation.
The purpose of this study was to convey the effectiveness of different NPI strategies. Your headline missed the point entirely.
Everyone should actually read their conclusions before getting so self righteous.
Are you guys purposely missing the part of their conclusions that state NPI's became ineffective as transmissibility increased?
Lasers have gotten a lot more efficient the last 20 years.
We need to create new tax mechanisms because these guys don't have income or capital gains. Tax loans where stocks are used as collateral. Fix tax rules on company expenses that are really personal expenses.
They made bad bets on streaming in general. Theatrical releases aren't as lucrative these days. Broadcast tv is also tanking. They really haven't figured out the modern business model at all so they have to take it out on labor.
All tomatoes are originally from South America. I wonder if they picked a bad species in the UK.
