Same here. Cut my family of origin out of my life when I was 36, and my only regret is taking that long to do it.
Seems LEGO is constantly being saved from bankruptcy. Being the world's greatest toy company isn't easy.
They made LEGO Friends not to appeal to girls but to appeal to adults who buy toys for girls.
Not OP but there are many, many adults who successfully go back to school. You should definitely look into it.
