They still have six legs, the front legs are just adapted for striking. You can see here they have tarsi at the ends like the other legs

Nobody knows that they DON'T feel pain. Safer to use caution and assume they do, than assume they don't and make a creature suffer.
The conditions are also low oxygen and high ammonia. Not healthy for the shrimp.

They're amazing animals but unbelievably hard to take care of. They don't even totally know how to care for them in zoos.
