#12 All the amazing things we could be doing but we're too busy blowing up whole countries and growing dragon hoards.
I always wondered why spooky toys were always black with bright, often glow-in-the-dark green highlights. Then I went to the cemetery by Edinburgh Castle in Scotland. Every tombstone was exactly that - weathered black stone covered in a bright green growth of alge or moss.
Probably well over 10,000, maybe multiple 10s of thousands. It's being called an "extinction level event."
Seems like that would just fill with wind blown sand. I trust some of that machinery is a pretty powerful vacuum and expulsion system. (Yes. I am sooooo fun at parties...)
There's a great "Lizzie" musical. Very dark and heavy metal. Just be sure to find this one:: https://www.lizziethemusical.com/
Billy Eillish gave a pretty good "natural demo" of her own Tourrette's tics during an interview with David Letterman. https://youtu.be/dpB1MB-0vuc
To be clear, that was Gingrich, not McConnell.
Nice to see them riding on a dedicated bike trail. Bikes and hikers need to be separated. The last time I was on a hiking trail, a guy flew by me from behind at about that speed. If I hadn't stepped off the trail, there's no way he could have stopped...or missed me without hitting a tree,
It's Fireball so it hardly counts. More like alcoholic candy.
Pinin' for the good ol' days. Sigh...
As good as they were, there are things in the movies that I take strong issue with. The stew scene is one that was not only annoying for being included, it was one that should never have seen the light of day. It was just a stupid and cheap gag.
Every now and then, you see a clip of some old codger playing the shit out of a guitar and everyone acts so surprised. He was really good when he was 25, too. People have been good at stuff for a long time.
That is a serious piece of drawing skill. The foreshprtening of the leg, the dynamics of the pose, even the curl of the tail. Watterson was a master!
I went to WalMart a few days ago to get, among other things, some Dr. Pepper. By the door: $12.59 for a 24 pack. At the back on an end aisle: $10.59 for the same 24 pack. At the register, rang up as $13. 89. A gallon of milk also rang up a dollar higher than at the cooler. The checkout lady had no issue about giving me the soda for $10.59 (Why would she care, anyway?) but WalWart is playing lots of shitty games with their prices these days. If you must go there, be aware and check each item.
I've been wondering if the rise of AI would be good for live music. If you want to see/hear real musicians in action, live will ultimately be the only way to ensure that you're getting the genuine article. Sadly, I'm more and more convinced that most people don't give a shit. Thanks for caring, OP.
It's amazing what people can do with folded paper these days.
Good luck getting that lid off next week.
Sure, safety sandals but hands away from the impact zone AND in gloves. Could be worse.
Do these ships have any equipment or provision for recovering lost containers, or is it just a not-my-problem-anymore thing?
Gee...pretty, fit women sure are pretty and fit. And they have been for years. I hope the trend continues.
Earth Chan does costume tech. Cool!
They abandoned their brand, as described in their name, and basically became a Walgreens without a pharmacy and photo department.
They should just play Paraguay next season, and only Paraguay. They can see who wins the "Dirty, Whining, Corruption Cry Babies Cup."
I had a very attractive friend who got a bit too intoxicated at an outdoor event on a hot day and took her shirt off. Later, she confided to me that she was pretty embarrassed about it. I told her not to worry. The only thing she really did was make a lot of people's day.
Mostly, this timeline is awful but for a few really nice things. Thong bathing suits, for example...
Here's one of those guys who are doing nothing in your eyes: /gallery/this-is-patriot-bCtqqBP
Comments like this are so infuriating. The two people in Minnesota were killed precisely because they gave a shit. People have been protesting and fighting back in countless ways large and small across the country. But here's some high and mighty jackass discounting all of it to what?...make himself feel superior? Get a life Ryan. Better yet, go do something yourself.
Anyone know who played the second keyboards on this show? I think he or she was hidden at the back of the stage.
