I'm just getting used to using Aseprite. I've had sort of an art block for a while. So, I don't have any other pieces that are close to being finished.
Apparently, trains hate my family. Because it looks like one of her sons also died when he was hit by a train in 1920.
For anyone who didn't see that post: Her husband was an abusive alcoholic who died from a self inflicted injury in 1885. The article I dug up about this was from a city 125 miles away from Millard. It was really weird to find. It basically threw in some unnecessary racism about Native Americans. I've shown it to my relatives and they also think it's really freaking weird.
This is from a newspaper printed in 1902. So, that's probably accurate.

Why is this getting down voted? This is just genealogy stuff.
I'm pretty sure this is from the same newspaper that wrote a very nasty article about her husband's death in 1885. So, I'm not surprised that the writing quality is terrible.

Imgur deleted the article about her husband who died in 1885. Apparently, the horrible language used in journalism from that time period was too much for Imgur.
This was in Millard, Nebraska in 1902. My great great grandmother was the one driving the buggy. She was deaf.

The surgeons suspect that the tumor has been growing in his brain for over 30 years. The CT scan was pretty horrific.

Unfortunately, we do. I'm not excited to see the hospital bill. But, at least my husband is alive.
The hospital told us that it was an epidermoid cyst.
Luckily, his tumor was benign. The surgeon said it was made of skin cells.
Or it is something that doesn't fit the tone of the show at all. Like the ending song from season 5 of JJBA.
It's red icing so it's probably bitter.
It was on Nickelodeon.
