If die hard isn't a Christmas movie then neither is home alone. They both have nothing specific to Christmas they just happen to be set at that time.

I've a little baby boy, i do the same. Any resistance I say this is the only safe space to change him as there's none in the mens toilet. Never had any push back after that.
Here in UK it's getting better but still difficult. Had one recently where they put the table on the end of the row of urinals. Disgusting 🤢! If there's none in the men's I use disabled if not there I go to the women's toilets. Most older building just don't have space for a baby change in the mens. I've found people are usually very helpful and let me use their facilities even if I've not bought something. But that makes me keep them in mind next time Im shopping for what they sell.

Due to the high winds coming from the Atlantic there aren't many trees on the coast. Glaciers stripped the topsoil from the burren. Deforestation for farms over 100s of years left just grass/produce for the rest.
